Yardable is a backyard-planning app made by Apps 4 That LLC (Indiana, USA). It is built on-device first: your plans and photos live on your own phone or computer by default. This policy explains exactly what stays on your device and the few things that don't.
localStorage on your device. When you tap Save my yard profile, Yardable sends Apps 4 That a profile record so we can keep the relationship with you and learn which Yardable users are most likely to become paid customers. That record may include:
Your photos, raw notes, full shopping list, and full project details are not sent with the saved profile. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe path. SMS reminders are only sent if you separately opt in with a phone number.
Yardable's free coach answers from a built-in, on-device knowledge base — nothing is sent anywhere. If you opt into the paid AI Coach, then only the text you type plus basic context about the zone you're working on (its name, goals, sun/soil conditions, and area) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a reply. We send this through our own server so your request is not tied to an account or profile.
The daily style shuffle works on-device. If a server-backed rotation is enabled, only anonymous image IDs you rate are exchanged to pick the next set — never your personal data.
Yardable loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your device's IP address is visible to Google when fonts are fetched, as with most websites. No other information is shared, and we run no Google Analytics or other tracking.
Yardable runs on a small set of infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf. We share only what each one needs to do its job, and none of them may use your data for their own marketing:
Yardable contains no advertising, tracking cookies, or cross-site trackers. We use Plausible Analytics for aggregate, cookie-free page and event counts only. We do not sell your information. Saved profile data is used by Apps 4 That to operate Yardable, follow up with you, understand product demand, and send only the updates or reminders you selected.
Yardable is a general-audience home-and-garden tool and is not directed to children under 13.
Because your data lives on your device, you are always in control. You can remove everything by deleting your zones in the app, or by clearing this site's data in your browser/app settings. Uninstalling the app removes it all.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Material changes will be noted in the app.
